It was quite some time since I last wrote something on this blog. The thing is, time really flies. Without me realizing it, it's already March and the last post I had was in November 2009. Wow!!

现在大概是凌晨3点钟，但我还不能睡。不知道是不是最近的新闻还是什么的，总是觉得现在的马来西亚就不是以前的马来西亚。然而，油价又起了！马来西亚向后退了，别的国家是向前走的，但是马来西亚就是不一样，它已经是在向后退了。。。

可能是这个原因，我今天睡不着吧 :(

It's Merdeka (Independence Day) for Malaysia tomorrow (31st August), but in fact, I don't feel the spirit yet. I don't even feel that Malaysia belongs to me. I just feel that I've been constantly told that I am an outsider, and if I don't like the way I was treated here, I should get out of the country.

You know, when I was studying in Canada, I was treated so much better in Canada than in Malaysia.

What's the difference? I am a student in Canada, where I was treated like a citizen there (first class). I am a citizen in Malaysia where I was treated like a second class.

There are a lot of rubbish being said by the politicians nowadays. I wonder, to become a politician, do you need some papers to back you up?

People were telling me (long long time ago), that you will need to study hard, and get a degree in order to get a good paying job...etc. Apparently, in Malaysia, I still think that the "theory" is not applicable at all, because what I see is a bunch of under-qualified (err... or should I say, not qualified?) politicians, governing us Malaysians, and still make tonnes of money, even more than what I am earning now. DAMN!

So, if you are not doing good in your studies, never mind, just join the politics and you'll be able to become a millionaire in no time.

Trust me, you can do that in Malaysia...

My new job!

It's been quite a long time since i actually log into this account, and do some blogging. Well, a lot of times, I would love to write something over here, and share it over with friends around the world.

I've changed job about 5 months ago, and soon after I've changed to this job (currently a product support engineer) I have been traveling extensively! Wow, it's great since it gives me a lot of exposure. I've been to HK, Macao, Taiwan, Philippines, Vietnam, France and eastern part of Malaysia. Cool eh? Yea, I loved it too.

My current company deals with meter. (check out http://www.itron.com) But I am in the water department, and mainly I am supporting on AMR/AMI System.

I so love my job now!

IPOH: Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir said he will only stop “working” when the courts decide he is not the legal mentri besar of Perak.

Speaking at the opening of the Perak Property Expo Friday morning, he said, “People ask me how I can keep on smiling or laughing.”

“Well, why not? There is no need to be too worried. I just continue to work,” he said.

The Court of Appeal is expected to decide Friday evening on Dr Zambry’s appeal against a High Court decision which had ruled that Pakatan Rakyat’s Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin was the state’s rightful mentri besar.

“My work was entrusted to me and so I must carry on,” he said.

I especially like this phrase that he said "... Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir said he will only stop “working” when the courts decide he is not the legal mentri besar of Perak...."

I thought the court already decided that he's NOT the legal one, but Nizar is? But he went on with the appeal!!

So, if the second time, court pronounced Nizar to be the legal MB again, and this guy will go to appeal again, and again, and again... it's never ending story! He will not stop working, because the cycle continues.

If he hasn't found another job yet, just say so lah... we're still able to give him some money to survive one. Even beggar is better than him. Sigh...

Perbuatan jahil itu yang semakin menarik minat orang Melayu dari dalam dan luar negeri ini dilakukan di sebuah kuil di kaki bukit berhampiran sebuah pasar raya terkemuka dekat sini.

Mereka datang untuk mencuba nasib biarpun perbuatan itu dilaknat Tuhan.

Difahamkan, kuil berkenaan memang dikenali di kalangan masyarakat Cina dan India hingga ada yang datang dari jauh, termasuk Singapura untuk melihat tarikan utamanya iaitu kehadiran babi hutan 30 hingga 50 ekor pada satu-satu masa di kawasan khas setiap malam.

Malah, keunikan kuil berkenaan pernah disiarkan dalam satu program saluran televisyen berbayar beberapa bulan lalu hingga menyaksikan pertambahan pengunjungnya saban hari.

Majoriti pengunjung hanya mempunyai satu tujuan iaitu membawa slip nombor ekor, geran kenderaan, wang kertas yang digunakan untuk membeli nombor ekor untuk diusapkan ke badan babi hutan terbabit kerana percaya ia mampu membawa tuah, termasuk memenangi hadiah utama judi nombor ekor.

Yang menyedihkan, kepercayaan itu menular di kalangan orang Melayu di daerah ini sebelum merebak ke luar Perak.

Seorang penduduk, Abdul Karim Yusop, 51, ketika ditemui Harian Metro berkata kegiatan itu semakin menjadi-jadi sejak awal tahun ini.

“Saya tidak kisah ia dilakukan golongan bukan Islam, tetapi kesal apabila seorang rakan bukan Islam memaklumkan ada orang Melayu turut melakukannya.

“Rakan saya bertanya adakah perbuatan menyentuh babi itu dibenarkan dalam agama Islam dan saya memberitahunya ia perbuatan berdosa bagi umat Islam.

“Mendengar jawapan saya, dia terkejut dan memberitahu terdapat ramai orang Melayu menyentuh dan memeluk babi hutan di kuil berkenaan,” katanya.

Dia yang tidak berpuas hati kemudian ke kuil berkenaan kira-kira dua minggu lalu dan mengucap panjang apabila melihat beberapa orang Melayu terselit di kalangan pengunjung bukan Islam sedang mengusap babi hutan.

Abdul Karim yang tinggal di Gunung Semanggol, tidak jauh dari kuil berkenaan, berkata dia mengetahui individu terbabit orang Melayu apabila salam diberikannya disambut mereka.

“Apabila saya cuba bertanya lebih lanjut mengenai perbuatan itu, mereka mengelak sebelum beredar. Saya sedih kerana percaya ramai lagi orang Melayu, terutama dari luar negeri ini datang melakukan perbuatan terkutuk dan berdosa besar itu.

“Justeru, saya berharap Jabatan Agama Islam Perak menyiasat kerana risau jika dibiarkan berlarutan ia boleh menyebabkan akidah umat Islam tergugat,” katanya.

Dakwaan Abdul Karim menarik minat wartawan Harian Metro yang meninjau ke kuil berkenaan baru-baru ini selama sehari suntuk bersama jurugambar dengan menyamar sebagai pengunjung.

Terbukti, kehadiran orang Melayu di kuil berkenaan bukan perkara asing terutama di kalangan petugasnya.

Jumlah pengunjung mula bertambah mulai jam 7.30 malam apabila babi dari hutan berhampiran mula memenuhi kawasan khas yang disediakan.

Selain kereta, beberapa bas pelancong termasuk dari Singapura kelihatan hingga menyebabkan kesesakan lalu lintas di jalan utama memasuki ke kuil berkenaan, manakala pihak kuil turut menjual nasi lemak yang dibuat khas untuk diberikan kepada babi.

Kira-kira jam 9.30 malam, perhatian wartawan mula terarah kepada dua lelaki Melayu yang datang dan kelihatan di tangan mereka beberapa keping kertas dipercayai slip nombor ekor.

Tanpa membuang masa, dua lelaki terbabit menuju ke arah beberapa ekor babi berhampiran mereka sebelum mengusapnya dengan kertas di tangan mereka.

Sebaik berbuat demikian, mereka terus beredar dan apabila dihampiri wartawan yang bertanyakan mengenai perbuatan mereka, ini jawapan mereka:

“Apa salahnya mencuba nasib. Saya dengar ada orang kena nombor ekor hingga ratusan ribu ringgit apabila mengusap kertas nombor ekor atau wang digunakan untuk membeli nombor ekor kepada badan babi itu,” kata seorang daripada mereka sebelum beredar.

Kepercayaan karut itu dan kehadiran orang Islam di kuil berkenaan diakui beberapa pekerja di kuil terbabit sambil memberi contoh antara 100 pengunjung yang datang, 10 daripadanya orang Melayu.

“Semua itu (kepercayaan memegang babi membawa tuah) terpulang kepada diri masing-masing. Kami tidak pernah menghalang sesiapa masuk ke kuil ini. Tetapi setahu saya, perbuatan memegang babi salah bagi orang Islam.

“Namun mungkin mereka (orang Melayu) yang datang mempunyai alasan tersendiri. Asalkan pengunjung tidak melakukan perkara tidak elok, kami tidak boleh menghalang mereka memasukinya,” kata seorang petugas di kuil yang hanya mahu dikenali sebagai Ravi, 32.

First of all, what is wrong with pig?

"... manakala pihak kuil turut menjual nasi lemak yang dibuat khas untuk diberikan kepada babi." (translate: the temple sells nasi lemak that was also being prepared to feed the pigs). I find this sentence to be... errr... as if the food that was prepared was unholy and unhygenic. Hello!! It was not picken up from sewage!!

I think some Muslim "people" just need to stop making some fuss about all this "pig" thing. Okay, I've gotta admit, we shouldn't be superstitious. But hey, stop demonized pig as if when you hear the word "pig" you will die immediately and spend the rest of your life in hell or something like that.

Coroner: Detainee’s death a misadventure

KUALA LUMPUR: A coroner has ruled there was no criminal element in the death of labourer N. Prakash Moses, who died while in police custody.

Coroner Nazran Mohd Sham said the cause of Prakash’s death was due to head injury.

“Based on the evidence adduced from the witnesses, the court has found that the detainee fell by himself. The court classifies it as a misadventure,” he said.

Nazran said Prakash’s fall was at the Jalan Hang Tuah police detention centre, while the detainee died at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) on Feb 18, 2003.

Nazran said this yesterday in his decision in the inquest to determine the cause of death of the father of eight.

Prakash, 40, was among 42 people detained under Ops Tapis around the Chow Kit area at 11pm on Feb 14, 2003 for suspected drug-related offences.

He was later taken to a detention centre.

According to the court papers, there were witnesses who saw him fall at the detention centre.

He was sent to HKL at 9am on Feb 15 for treatment. He was admitted to the intensive care unit on the same day and died three days later.

A port-mortem report by HKL forensic expert Dr Mohammad Shafie Othman cited the head injury caused by the fall as the cause of Prakash’s death.

A total of 17 witnesses testified at the inquest, which began on Feb 4, 2005.

DPP Syaiful Nazrin Mohd Rahim assisted the coroner in the proceedings.

Lawyer Amer Hamzah Arshad, who held a watching brief for Prakash’s family, said the family was considering filing for a revision over the ruling.

Yeah, of course, there's no foul-play. Who would believe it anyway?

Malt drink = beer?

Sometimes I find it strange in Malaysia, and this thing will only happen in Malaysia.

The distributor of an Iranian halal non-alcoholic “beer” said that it had never used the term “beer” on their product.
Malaysian Iranian Corporation Sdn Bhd executive director Azizi Ahmad said his company realised that Muslims might be concerned about the term “beer” on the Iranian-made drink called Istak.

“Istak is actually a malt drink, which had received the halal certification from the Iranian government 10 years ago,” he told Utusan Malaysia.

He added that Iran was known to impose strict halal regulations on commercial products.

The paper had published concerns from several Islamic NGOs who disagreed with the usage of the term “beer” on the drink.

Azizi said his company had never issued brochures saying that the Istak drink was a “halal beer,” adding that he would contact the NGOs to clarify the matter.

This is just how you interpret it? You can call it whatever that you want, but then a beer is a beer.

There are many ways you can call a thing.

If you have "stolen" something, if you don't call that "stealing" (but to call it "borrowing" from that someone), will you be spare from punishment?

Taking someone thing without the person's permission is called stealing. But if you insist in calling that "borrowing", you know, borrow first, but ask for permission later. Then, will it be considered that you hadn't done something wrong?

You know, "pork" is not "pig", it's just some kind of meat. It's perfectly fine for everyone to eat because it's just a type of "meat", and it's not "pork". So practically, that will eventually make it a "halal" food, am I right? (just make sure it follows the procedure during the killing, and it'll be considered as halal)

If that's the case, why not rename the word "pork" to something else, then we can all enjoy a delicious pork in Malaysia...

Today, I reached office early morning. And since I've got nothing to do yet, so I just read on some online news and I found this.

Well, to me, halal or not, I don't really care... but when I continued reading, I was surprised to read this..

"... These products are among hundreds from various parts of the world, including non-Muslim nations. The pill for erectile dysfunction is from South Korea while the halal beer is from Iran and the quit-smoking aid is from India..."

I don't know anything about "halal", but "halal beer"? In Malaysia? Well, why not just make a law that allow Muslims to drink, instead of calling it a "halal beer". What's next? "halal chivas"? "halal pork"?

Gosh... I think only Malaysia is trying to play god.

Rear seat belt?

I don't know about this, I smell something fishy on this "rear seat belt" law. I am in the automotive industry, and I know that Proton & Perodua are going to launch their MPV vehicle next year.

The question is, is this "law" being introduced to "force" people to buy a MPV?

(Proton is going to launch their MPV on March 2009, Perodua is set to be somewhere around August 2009).

I don't focus too much on Perodua, afterall, they're way better than Proton. But this move to introduce rear seat belt (I agree to have rear seat belt, but, why now? Why not before?)

Petrol Decrease by 15sens

As I just got the news from Malaysiakini, that the petrol will be decreased by 15 sens. There isn't much impact to me, as I know once the price has gone up, it will never come down. You see, when there is a decreased of 15 sens on petrol, do you think the roti-canai, or wantan mee, will be at lower price? I DON'T THINK SO...

But this is not the point that I wanted to bring out.

It's about our flip-flop Pee Am, errr... the so-called "Pee Am" lar. I am seriously getting more and more worried about this decisions, his talkings... etc.

If my memory served me well, I remembered him saying that "there will definitely no price change on petrol, not before Merdeka celebration. It will definitely be on 1st September 2008..."

Okay, it's clear now, our Pee Am sucks. He is using this tactic so that they can win the election. Too bad that I am not staying in Permatang, otherwise, I would have taken the 15sens discount in petrol, and yet I won't vote for them... haha...

PETALING JAYA: About 48,000 Touch ’n Go cards will be expiring this year, with about 4,000 customers replacing their expired cards every month since January.

The cards, purchased in 1997 (when the service was officially launched), had reached their 10-year lifespan, said Touch ’n Go Customer Service Department head Azmi Jafar.

He said to renew the card, customers would need to purchase a new card at a cost of RM10, which would be taken from the RM15 deposit of the expired card.

Asked why customers were charged for the card renewal, when they were not initially informed of the card expiring, he replied:

“The new card will be able to last for another 10 years, which works out to RM1 a year only.

“The balance of RM5 from the deposit will be credited into the new card as a reload value,” he said, adding that the credit balance of the expired card would be transferred to the new card as well.

Azmi said the cards have a 10-year expiry period as “all electronic products are subject to wear and tear.”

“Touch ’n Go is no exception. The electronic chip in the card, which carries the functions such as

memory storage, radio transmitter and receiver, has a 10-year life-span.

“The chip will lose its efficiency once it reaches the end of its lifespan,” he told The Star.

Card users can only renew their cards at Touch ’n Go offices in Faber Towers, KL Sentral (both in Kuala Lumpur), Penang Bridge Sdn Bhd, PLUS, Elite Highway and Second Link.

“Right now, customers can check when their card expires at our website. We are negotiating with vendors to extend our service of renewing their cards online.

“That system should be out sometime next year,” he said.

He said that should customers decide not to purchase a new Touch ’n Go card, they can return the expired card, and the deposit and balance would be refunded via cheque within 30 working days.

Sometimes, I don't know why I got angry easily, or pissed off by reading some "Malaysia" news. Take this news for example, it should be okay, nothing seem to be awkward, but there is one line that's being reported that really make me fucking pissed off.

Who is this fucking Azmi Jafar? Does he understand the question at all? Someone was asking, why we were charged for renewal of card, and he answered "oh.. it's only RM1 per year.."

And mind you, even when it's RM10 per year, I don't mind just as long as I've been informed about this earlier.

Don't they know that the lifespan for the card is about 10 years before they start the whole system? Or are they expecting that the system will not last above 10 years, that's why they don't inform their customers about this renewal thing?

I wonder, when will people learn how to be responsible on what they've done wrong? If you've made a mistake, you absorb the cost this time, but inform the customer that they will be charged for the next renewal session.

Damn, I really wish I can just pass all the "mistaken" cost to my customers... niamah...

Two killed in highway horror

Horrific crash in Cheras

KUALA LUMPUR: Two people were killed after a 10-tonne lorry rammed into seven vehicles on the Cheras-Kajang Highway yesterday.

One of the victims of the horrific crash, Kpl Mohd Nuh Ali, 48, was a bomb squad specialist.

The lorry driver, who also died in the 9.30am crash near Taman Connaught, Cheras, here yesterday, was identified as Kang Ban Hin, 50.

Kuala Lumpur deputy traffic police chief DSP Ng Fook Long said six people were also injured in the crash.

“They have all been admitted to the Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in Cheras and are in serious condition,” he added.

It is learnt that five of the injured were in critical condition.

DSP Ng said that the lorry, carrying boulders, was turning into the Kajang-Cheras Highway from the Middle Ring Road 2, when Kang was believed to have lost control of the vehicle before smashing into a motorcycle, three cars, a van and an MPV.

Mohd Nuh was riding his motorcycle to work with the General Operation Force unit in Cheras when the lorry hit him before jumping the divider and crashing into oncoming vehicles on the highway.

The father of three, who had spent many years in the force putting his life at risk defusing bombs mainly during training exercises, died on the spot.

Eyewitnesses described the scene of the accident as “horrific.”

“I saw the lorry coming down quite fast without the signal light on as I overtook it on my motorcycle. Seconds later, I heard a loud crash.

“To my horror, as I turned around to look, I saw the lorry smashing into several vehicles,” said Naresh Kumar, 28, an engineer.

He said he immediately called the police. Others at the scene claimed at least three other vehicles were damaged.

Kamarul Aizan, 33, whose Perodua Kancil was among the vehicles damaged in the accident, said he was just “seconds away from death”.

It was quite a while since this Merc car that will use by Terengganu had some hoo-haa about whether they should scrap the Perdana. At first, I am already disappointed with their actions, I find that there are a lot of clowns in Malaysia's politics (or should I say, they are all fuckers? They don't have the qualifications to do the job), but after reading this news in TheStar, I think I better think of migrating (even to Thailand) than to stay in Malaysia for the rest of my life.

Seizure of cars forces exco men to use Mercs

KUALA LUMPUR: Eight of the 16 Proton Perdanas for Terengganu’s executive councillors have been seized by the Anti-Corruption Agency.

This has left them with no choice but to use the Mercedes E200 Kompressors for their official duties.

This was the explanation given by Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said over the continued use of the Mercedes by exco members despite the Prime Minister’s instruction for them to stop.

Last Friday, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said the Terengganu Government could keep the 14 Mercedes but they could only be used for guests of the state.

Ahmad said the exco members would continue to use the Mercedes pending completion of ACA’s investigations into the high maintenance cost of the state’s fleet of Proton Perdana V6 Executives.

“The ACA has taken the Proton Perdana cars and it would take some time so we are going to use the Mercedes,” he told a press conference after dinner with Umno leaders here on Saturday night.

He added that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi had given the state the permission to use the Mercedes “once in a while”.

“This is only temporary, we will decide later,” he added.

Yesterday was my first time ever, going out to have dinner all by myself. I guess this will be the trend for... err... the rest of my life? lol..

Same routine again, I scrolled through my hp list, hmm, couldn't find anyone. I wanted to eat at home, but, my house's condition is in disastrous state. So, I drove my car out to Kuchai Lama, the usual place where I will have my dinner.

Reached there, order a fish, and a plate of vegetable.

There I was, finished everything while watching football (guess it was ManU vs. "I-forgotten-the-name-already") and the score was 4-1. And the pathetically drive home, and sleep.

Oh, before that, I went to Carrefour for a walk, just to digest a bit before I am on my bed sleeping.

So, I've made my first step! It's always hard to move the first step, so, since I already there, guess, it will be another routine for me to have dinner by myself every weekend.

It's been a long time since I last put my time in this blog. You might ask, is this blog important to you? Yes, I would say, because this is a channel where I can express my thinking. But somehow, I guess along the way, I've developed something, which prevent me from trying to express myself. lol... Not gonna let that happen, and that's the reason I am starting to write today again.

It's April now, a lot of incidents happened during this period. Hmm, let's put it in point form for better reading.

1. Working Life
Okay, since CNY till now, I would say 20 staffs had left (or more than 20, I see a lot of potential ex-colleague, haha). Is there any impact to me? Yes, definitely, now I am the coordinator, I am the sales, I am the service, I am the de-patch boy, I am the office boy, I am IT...etc. Plus, I don't really have the mood to work nowadays. It has no motivation at all since my immediate superior resigned too :(

2. Politics
Well, well, well, what can I say about this bunch of losers/clowns? Bodowi? Lajip? Tengku Paris? And the rest of the jokers that make the plan for Malaysia... When I was young, I was taught that Malaysia is the best country in the world to stay in, the older I am, the more disgust I am getting by reading all the news, and the planning made by those stupid/idiotic politikus.

3. Family
What can I say? I am not having a very close relationship with my family. I think they are jokers too.

4. Money
I am trying very hard to increase my own income, by the legal way, of course! Ha..

5. Education
Ya ya, I am taking a Thai language class, and this is the most excited activities that I am having currently. Sometimes I still ask myself this questions, why do I love Thailand so much? If I were given a chance to migrate to Thailand, would I take the offer? Hmm... I think yes... gua... mai roo jak krap.

6. Love life
Still very pathetic, still no updates since 30 years ago.

Oh yea, one more pathetic thing that I guess I can share with a lot them here. Whenever I am bored, and wanting to look for some companionship, I will try to scroll down my contact list, whether to ask them out, or to chit-chat a bit. To my surprise, not even one I can call or ask them out. Guess it's a sign where I should re-examine myself, is it my problem, or their problem... lol...

Wow, write so long, better stop here. I will continue some other time when I have the time again.

Now, I have to start the "headache" by concentrating on my shipment to Pontian, JB, now.

I find it hilarious because the last thing I know was, the gomen always compare Malaysia with other countries, when it comes to price hiking in toll, petrol... etc.

I agree with Sunny Lim's letter Some are indeed above the law. The recent episodes add to the long list of shameful acts by the police. They think, and some honestly believe, they are above the law.

On Dec 17 at 8.20 am, I was in the Jalan Duta Court Complex’s canteen. I saw a police corporal smoking and whispering to three civilians. When he walked past me, I told him that this is not the place to smoke. In a rude and arrogant manner, he replied that the sign just says "No smoking" and holding a lit cigarette is not smoking. He then said that he can do anything he likes.

I told him, "In that case, why don’t you arrest those really smoking?" He replied that it is not his job. Assuming that it is not the police’s job to do so, where is the enforcement? The government seems not to be serious despite the many "No Smoking" signs put up around the court complex.

Due to their indifference, we can see many police officers breaking the law themselves. Indeed, they are above the law. If the police can blatantly and shamefully flout the law in public, how much more can they do to detainees inside the police station?

Honestly speaking, do you really believe in polis? I think only 1% of the force is trustable, the rest of them? They have the "license" to take your money.

Why was I saying that? My friend got framed by police, only to know that all they wanted is $$...

Police to protect us? I have my doubts...

I don't know, yesterday when I was reading the news, I saw "Herald might have difficulty in renewing their publication license due to the word 'Allah'". I was like, what the heck!

Today, when I read the news again, I saw this.. quoted from Malaysiakini:

PETALING JAYA: The Multi-Lane Free Flow system or gantry system will be implemented by the end of 2008, said Works Minister Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu.

Construction on the RM800mil pilot project is set to begin in March in several hot spots in the Klang Valley to ease the worsening traffic congestion.

The hot spots include the Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP), Kesas expressway and New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE).

Under the gantry system, motorists need not stop to pay toll at the booths. Deductions would be made automatically from their prepaid toll cards, almost similar to the present Smart TAG system.

“During the preparation period (beginning March), we will focus on a new central clearing house (to monitor the system), changing all equipment and amending laws pertaining to the implementation of the system,” said Samy Vellu.

Speaking to reporters after opening the Business Development Seminar for Micro and Small Businesses here yesterday, he added that it had yet to be determined who would bear the cost of building and implementing the system.

“We will decide on that very soon,” he said.

On increasing road safety, Samy Vellu said that more cameras would be installed along highways using the gantry system to catch traffic offenders, especially those who speed.

“We will have a more comprehensive monitoring system of traffic offenders once more surveillance cameras are used.

“This will help lower the number of accidents and also serve as a deterrent to motorists who want to break the law,” he said.

It's been a hectic month, and only then I realized that it's been more than a month since I last updated my blog. Well, it's good to be busy sometimes, I guess.

LUMUT: Merdeka celebrations here took a nasty turn at Dataran Hadhari, Teluk Batik, early yesterday when some Mat Rempit reacted violently against the police by wrecking one patrol car and breaking the rear window of another.

This happened at 1.30am when a police inspector tried to detain a man, sparking angry protests from more than 100 Mat Rempit, who surrounded the police car, kicking its doors and ripping off the radio antenna, said Manjung deputy district police chief DSP Ahmad Rabawi Abdul Jamil.

The police officer returned to the car and got away unharmed.

About 2.15am, Anti-Narcotics division chief DSP Azman Shahrin went to the scene in a police car and saw about 3,000 people there but there was no confrontation with any Mat Rempit.

"However, as we were passing by the area, a rock was thrown at the car, smashing the rear window," he said.
Ahmad Rabawi said two men were arrested in connection with the damage to the police cars.

He said police and the Manjung Municipal Council had been conducting a joint operation from 8pm on Thursday to 2.30pm yesterday.

Police arrested four youths, aged 18 to 26, for reckless driving, issued 290 summonses and seized 52 motorcycles for various offences, he said.

Five youths who tested positive for drugs were detained, including four aged between 13 and 16.

"On searching them, we found utensils that were used to smoke ganja in their bags," he added.

Kota Kinabalu: Several Sabah women leaders on Sunday demanded a public apology from Kota Kinabalu Umno pro tem head, Haji Roselan Johar Mohamed, and asked him to retract his “outrageous” remarks about rape victims which they feel are an insult to women’s intelligence.

While closing the “Legal Literacy Seminar” for Women on Saturday, Roselan had remarked, among others, that “If you cannot fight rape, better lay down and enjoy it.”

He also proposed that when a victim lodges a police report on rape, the doctor must carry out a psychological examination on the victim as to what extent she enjoyed it.

The seminar, held at Wisma SESB here, was jointly organised by the Kota Kinabalu Parliamentary Constituency-level Women, Family and Community Development Council and the Kota Kinabalu Handicraft Traders Association.

Deputy Minister of Housing and Local Government, Datuk Hjh Azizah Mohd Dun, said she felt disgusted by the remarks.

Calling on Roselan to retract his statement, she said it was in bad taste and revolting not only to women but also to society at large.

“We want him to apologise to the women in Sabah. Even old women and children get raped. Don’t tell me the child enjoys it as she is innocent and does not even know what it is all about.

“He (Roselan) is insensitive to women’s sentiments about rape, especially rape victims, despite the fact that he has a mother, a wife (and daughter?).”

Azizah, who is also Umno Beaufort Division Wanita Chief, noted that the country’s leadership has condemned rape as a heinous crime.

“But here we have someone who is making light of the victims’ ordeal.”

Assistant Minister of Community Development and Consumer Affairs, Jornah Mozihim, said it would be appropriate for Roselan to make an apology in the media because he has hurt the feelings of women in Sabah.

“It’s totally wrong and disgusting...he has no compassion for the victims. It is most unbecoming of him as a political leader.

“As a guest of honour, he should be supportive of the organisers’ efforts. Instead, his utterances have, in a way, nullified their noble intention. “What is there to enjoy? It’s a case of rape cum murder in many instances.”

Jornah described rape as a violation of women’s fundamental rights and the basic principle of life.

“Sexual offences have reached an alarming stage in the country. Such unpardonable crime has received condemnation from the Prime Minister who advocates capital punishment for perpetrators who cause the death of their victims, especially children.

“Apparently, Roselan is not conforming to national efforts to combat violent crimes against women and children.”

She, meanwhile, reminded single mothers who remarry, to be concerned for their daughters’ safety and not to compromise it.

“It is common to hear of stepfathers raping stepdaughters, not to mention fathers ravaging their own ‘flesh and blood’.”

Sabah Umno Wanita Chief, Datuk Dayang Mahani Tun Pengiran Ahmad Raffae, also called on Roselan to retract his statement.

“Knowing him personally, I am disappointed over his statement if what was published had really happened.

“I respect the walkout staged by several speakers from the Sabah Muslim Women Lawyers Association (Salwa) in displaying their feelings over Roselan’s remarks,” she said when contacted Sunday.

Describing rape as a forced action against the person’s will, Mahani asked: “If a grandfather rapes his grandchild and a father rapes his daughter, does his remark imply that both the grandchild and daughter who are rape victims, enjoyed the intercourse?

“Of course, his uncalled-for remarks were a big insult. As right-thinking citizens, we should be giving moral support and protection to rape victims, and sympathising with them, instead of poking fun against them.”

She stressed that rape cases are severe and affect the victims’ lives, adding that some would suffer nightmares, phobia and even go insane.

“Rape issues should not be a topic of joke to play around.”

Sabah Puteri Umno Chief, Rosnah Hj Rashid Shirlin, said Roselan’s utterances were most unwelcome and did not reflect the views of Umno as a whole.

“Sabah Puteri Umno certainly do not subscribe to his viewpoint. He may have uttered it as a joke, but no, we don’t think it is funny.”

According to her, the organisation has been consistent in its tough stand against rape as a despicable crime. “In our fight against its incidence all this while, we have made a clarion call to denounce rape outright.”

President of Pewasa (Sabah Women’s Organisation), Datuk Hjh Zahra Ismail, found the statement “shocking”.

“Rape involves physical force and threats. In fact, in all rape situations, women are threatened, humiliated and violated, so it makes no sense to think that any rape victim would enjoy such an experience,” she pointed out.

She contended that “silence” would indicate consent by the victim and the assailant would go scot-free after the incident with no end in sight to the crime.

“Rape causes extreme emotional distress in that the victims often feel unsafe and powerless, and lose faith in society.

We do not want this crime to happen to any women be it our friends, family members or the community.”

Women were advised to be equipped with skills as best they can and even secure any kind of equipment or gadgets for self-protection.

Today is 30th of August, the merdeka eve for Malaysia. And it's the first post that I have for the month of August. Wow, it's been so long since I last blog in here! What a shame, am I going to blog like only 5 minutes heats?

It was a "in" thing to blog, so I started to blog, to become a blogger too, but now, it seems to be slowing down a little, or I should say, probably I have become lazy to blog already.

No, that's not it, it shouldn't be the way, we shouldn't just do things half way. So, this morning, I've got the "feelings" to write it all again.

So, again, today is 30th of August, tomorrow is merdeka day for Malaysia, and I don't really feel a thing about it! When I was young, I liked it so much to the fact that, yea, I am a Malaysia, proud to be one, but now.. I have mixed feelings already.

Last year, about the same time, when I was working with my dad, my dad asked me to fly a flag on our company truck, I refused. Well, you know, I personally think that Malaysia is going backwards, downhill. Why? Look around us.. with the "discriminated" policies, stupid judgement, "connected-people" getting away with big case.. yea, reading the daily news is really a joke to me. I really find that you don't really have to subscribe to "A-joke" (you know, those jokes that will send to you daily to make you happy by Celcom/Maxis/Digi), you already can be made "happy" by just reading the daily news.

Malaysia, oh Malaysia.. it's getting more and more... I-don't-have-a-word-to-describe-it anymore..

on 12 July 2007, around 11am, just after I met a customer in Dataran Prima, was heading back to USJ, and was thinking to go to USJ2 to have the famous curry mee, just before I park my car, right before the corner of reaching SHELL petrol station (just next to the Petronas petrol Station), a parked car suddenly came out and hence... bang!! my front lamp and signal lamp.. PECAH!! And of course, some scratches too on my bumper.

PC-DMIS, a metrology software, really got me there! I am a newbie to this software, and towards the world of measurement. Hmm, a simple measurement of the customer's sample would be okay to me, I am already "expert" on that.. Just that, this time, it's becoming more complicated. I need HELP! Instantly...

I'd searched through the manuals, I'd looked through the website, I emailed an real expert in Singapore, and I even went to the forum to seek help. All I need to do is to wait. Sigh...

I have a friend, A, who had came back to Malaysia last year, but recently, his gf (whose still studying in Canada), asked another friend, B, of the same University (who's coming back to Malaysia to finish some of his business) to bring some "stuff" to her bf.

So, the thing is, A stays in Batu Pahat, and B stays in KL. Batu Pahat to KL is about 4 hours drive. Coincidentally, A is in KL through the weekend, before that, A had contacted B, asking for his phone number, address...etc so that A can go collect his "stuff". B, whatever the reason, doesn't want to give his number to A. So A gave my number to B so that B can contact me, and I collect it and when A is here in KL, A can look for me and collect it.

The fucking thing is that, what's the fucking deal of B not giving out contact number, or address... why want to make things complicated? It's just one fucking thing... Why have to converse every time through MSN? Fuck that, really!

B is ashamed that it took him 7 years already, and yet haven't got a degree? And he's ashamed of it? What the hell I care about that, I want to carry on with my life.. I want to get the "stuff", and pass it to A, or at least help A to get the "stuff" from B.. that's all...

I just can't figure out why such behavior came out from B... ARGGHHH.... that makes all of us (me and A) fucking furious... geram too...!!

I was talking with a friend of mine the other day, when we were on our trip to Genting Highlands, to get some "pocket money" from Uncle Lim (if you know who he is). So, he did mention that, he would like to become a player. A player that, just want to be with another girl, with no string attached, not necessary sex related, but somehow, just someone that is different from the current gf/wife, that would be more understanding towards their inner feelings.

So, I was told, to become a player, you just have to follow 3 rules (Code of ethics?)

1. A player is not a chooser.
2. Never bring the 2nd one to your house/apartment (avoid confrontation with the 1st one, if they ever meet)
3. (I forgot what this again, would it be --> go back to rule number 1? haha)

routine during the weekend

It's been more than a month since I last have this routine during weekends.

Saturday - Woke up in the morning, brush my teeth, wash my face (sometimes I skip this), cooked my own breakfast (I am so lazy to walk out to get me something to eat, normally maggie mee will do), doing the chores at home, wash my car.. blah blah blah.. I called it a day then.

Sunday - Woke up in the morning.. (repeat Saturday)

It's not too bad after all, when you have "activity" like these during weekend, you can actually save a lot! Happy saving...

When was the last time that you shed a tear? Do you always drop a tear when you're sad, or overly happy? I have no idea when was the last time I cried, but with no other specific reason, I feel like crying, sort of like wanting to "enjoy" the it.

Many things happened around us, as you can read on the news. Last time, I used to feel sad towards all these "bad things" happened around us, I don't anymore. Is my heart getting harden? A stoney heart, as many would have put it? Or is it too commonly happen (such as rape cases, murdering, terrorizing, robbery...etc) that I don't feel a thing anymore?

I watched movies, when it comes to a very touching screen, I finally drop some tears. I WAS SO FUCKING HAPPY, why? That I feel that I'm still human, I still have feelings, feeling towards things around me. I wanted to feel passionate like I used to be, feel care towards the people around me, because (to me, I think) the world is not just ME, but us...

KUALA TERENGGANU: Polygamous men should consider marrying single mothers to reduce the high number of such women living alone, said State Islam Hadhari and Welfare committee chairman Abdullah Che Muda.

“The popular consideration is to look for unmarried girls but this will not help to reduce the increasing number of single mothers,” he said.

Abdullah said there were some 18,000 members in the Terengganu Single Mothers’ Club.

“In my constituency (Kuala Besut) alone, there are now some 300 single mothers and those intending to remarry should consider these women,” he added.

Abdullah said the men were subjected to certain rulings of the Religious Department, such as being mentally and financially stable, has in-depth knowledge of the religion and able to render fair treatment to all wives.

“Therefore, those who are eligible can look after these single mothers, by accepting them as wives,” he said.

State Religious Department commissioner Datuk Shaikh Harun Ismail said that in Terengganu, polygamous man could solemnise the marriage without informing his wife or wives.

On the other hand, he said spouses’ presence was compulsory in the Federal Territory.

“But this still come under the discretion of the Syariah Court judge and if the man is asked to produce his wife or wives he has to comply,” he said.

These so-called “top up” girls, first get to know the men through the Internet chat room and then go out on dates with them.

Sue (not her real name) said she started out just to look for fun and then it became habitual.

She would ask her men friends to buy her a RM10 prepaid card for her phone before going out with them and then, later, taken to a “port” to have sex.

“Usually, they take me to their rented houses. Sometimes, we just loiter around the city and watch movies.

“We do this normally during the weekends and most of these guys are the mat motor type,” said the 17-year-old, who said some of her schoolmates also indulged in such activities. Some of them provided phone sex.

Sue said it all started after she was jilted by a man, in his 20s, whom she had gotten to know through the Net.

“We exchanged telephone numbers and started having phone sex daily, before I finally met him after a month.

“His charming and romantic nature made me follow him to his house where we had sex,'' she said, adding that after a year later she found out that he was two timing her.

It was after that that she started to sell her body to anyone willing to top-up her phone credit.

F**king snatch thieves

On 1st of May, on my way to Klang to enjoy Bak Kut Teh with some colleagues and some Japanese girls, I saw an old lady being snatched of her thing (I think it's a handbag, not sure).

Why I know they were snatch thieves? At first, I saw a young man, who was wearing a helmet at that time, was running towards a motorcycle, in which another rider was there, with engine still running. I was curious, why would a guy ran towards the motorcycle, since it was early morning. However, when I looked to the left, I saw one old lady, waving and running towards them, immediately I can sense that it was a f**king robbery. That time, I was ahead of them (I was driving at that time), and I was trying to make them fall from their bike, I slowed down, but they make it to the right lane. I changed my lane to the right, braked again, trying to scare them off and make them fall, but failed.

Then, they were ahead of me, and I was trying to speed to stop them (or to get their number plate), or at least know where their hiding place is. But I failed, with third gear, I went off to 130km/hr, and with all the cars blocking mine, they just disappeared along Seremban highway.

Actually, I blamed myself later on, for not being able to stop the crime. I should have banged them down, let them die..or whatever.. I don't really care. I really hate those youngsters that commit crime. They should have go to work, and not doing nothing, and waiting for someone to feed them.

If they are not willing to subject to low salary, then, hey, get a ticket, and go to USA, or Europe, to jump aeroplane. I did that, there's no shame of it. Go there 1 or 2 or 3 years, and I bet you will be able to come back with at least RM50,000.

And by the way, both of the snatch thieves are Malay, NOT INDONESIAN, but Malay! I am very disappointed with them. And the government too, brainless sometimes, always feeding them.. you should teach them how to survive in this world, and not just feed them.

No money, seek for alternatives, go jump aeroplane lah! You'll be surprise how many Malaysian Chinese are in US, working in restaurant...etc.. If we, chinese can do that, why not fucking Malay youth?

Normally when someone who is better looking, they tend to have a better chance in everything. Well, talking about getting a partner, yes.. they tend to get a partner easier. Recently, a friend of mine, approached by a very beautiful girl, well, now they're together already (according to my friend), in less than a month's time.

Hmm, my friend is actually a quite a good looking guy too. When he approaches a girl, normally it will take lesser time, compare to me, to be succeeded.

Guys' Problems

Today, I was having some drinks with a friend in Mui Kai restaurant in Seri Petaling. Well, it's been quite some time since I had a drink with him already, good thing, he's finally attached with a very beautiful girl. But this is not the point that I am writing this. The main point that I wanted to say is that, to be a guy, at least in Malaysia, is always on a worse side.

If you're a girl, there will be always the guy to pay for your meal. If you're a gay, then... err.. most of the time, you'll get a free drink.. or something like that.. but it never happen to guys, plain straight guys. Plain straight guys always have to pay double. Shouldn't the company pay straight guys more, or should we get less income tax? lol...

Have you ever felt that you need a hug desperately? Yes, sometimes I do... I guess the very time that you need a hug is when you feel very weak, and vulnerable. Or, you need a hug because you want to feel wanted by someone, or somebody.

Why do we all need a hug from time to time? For me, maybe it's just a time where I think I need a shelter. But however, according to someone, everyone needs a hug for at least 8 times a day. Hey, what do you think of that?

Insurance

Have you ever approached by someone, either your friends, or someone that you know, but not so closed, or your relative, or just anyone, trying to sell you some of the insurance policy? Well, I am not against the policy, I still believe that anyone, somehow or other, should have at least some insurance policy to protect them (who knows, because you just need to get insured, not for yourself, but the people around, the one you love)... But the issue is just the person who's trying to sell that to you.

I don't like being force by someone, I mean.. I totally understand about the policy thing, you pay this amount of money, for a period of time.. and if you get injured, or even death, you get to get this money.. for medical purposes, or something else.. Just that, I don't have the cash now! I want it, but still can't afford it.. and once I can afford it, I will come look for you.. It's like, I CALL YOU, YOU DON'T CALL ME!.. why can't someone understand that?

If you keep pushing someone to get the insurance policy, yes, you might be successful for some people... but never gonna be me! It will just annoy me, and probably pissed me off one day, and one day even if I want to get insured, I'll get someone else.... sigh...

I know, I am a salesperson too, but sometimes when you push it too hard, you'll lose it... what say you all?

Of late, I always keep myself busy. It's a good thing that you keep yourself busy. Why? If you're always free, you will tend to think a lot of unnecessary things.. something silly, something stupid..

Hmm, come to think about it, it has been quite some time since I last watch TV. I used to be the potato coach, knew all the schedule of the program, but not anymore.. now, I don't really focus on TV, am focusing on how to earn more $$..

Well, will it be like this for all the people in the world? Have I reached a stage where I will need more $$, and not thinking of other things? Or have I gone through the stage where suddenly I realized that $$ is everything? $$ can get you just anything?

Think the best way is ... to keep myself busy, and to stay focus too... otherwise, I'll burn out very soon.... what say you?

Today, we had the potluck dinner at my friend's house. It's his daughter's full moon day. Hmmm, a very cute little girl.. I was wondering, when will I get married? When will I have kids? etc...

Well, today is the 15th day for Chinese New Year, which is the last day of celebration. After today, everything will be get to normal again. No more at home small-scale gambling. lol.. no more extra "income" for those unmarried. etc..

There is another special event on the 15th of Chinese New Year. It's the day where you can know the other half. On today, a lot of singles, bachelors, will go to pond.. or somewhere where there's water, wrote something on the mandarin orange, (basically just your contact number, and probably your name, I am not so sure about that, haven't done that in my life), and throw that in the river/pond... then hopefully someone will pick it up and maybe return a call to you? lol

Well, that reminds me of going to Taman Jaya, PJ.. heard of this practice long long time ago, but never ever been there to witness it. So today, after having my dinner, me and my buddy, drove there to see what's going on. So.. just a bunch of guys and girls... girls threw the mandarin orange with some of their details on it, and guys.. ready with fish net or anything that look like net.. trying to get the girls contact number.. and hey, most of them are so young.. I find myself to be old, in their midst.. lol..

So, I snapped some photos quickly, and chow.. hmm... maybe next year I should come with a boat, you know.. so that those that threw the mandarin orange into the middle of the pond, I will be able to get them... it was an enjoyable night, even though I was there for only 10 mins.... haha..

Accident

!@#$% ... had an accident on 26th Feb 2007. I banged a cab's back. Fuck that fucking Malay (am not rasict, but he so happen to be a Malay), he purposely jam break the car. If I have something on my hand, I will surely blast him off... (yea, I know, I am very violence, don't worry, just words.. no action)

So, I paid him RM100 to settle his car.. well.. I paid like RM360 for my car.. gosh, I really hate the fucking Malay driver, he was telling me to tolerate.. blah blah.. then he said something like.. "even if I sleep on the street, you can't bang me".. and I know for sure, he purposely jam break his car.. and he demanded his salary and the rental of his car to be paid as well.. I said "fuck you".. "if you ain't happy about it, please call the police"...

well, guess he already have the profit of RM100 on that day. I know of their tactic, will they ever go and fix up their car? Noooooooooooooooo... just a little dent on his bumper. HWA 6363... Proton Wira Sedan... will remember this car... if I ever see this car somewhere in KL.. better becareful.. I won't letgo that easily.. F**K HIM..!

There were many times I see drivers hogging the fast lane with extremely slow speed.. Not sure if all of you have noticed this, nowadays... the queue on the most right lane is longer than the one on the left? I have seen some cars doing so slow (oh yes, maybe they are keeping the speed limit --> good citizens), but hey, please fuck off the road... if you are doing slow speed, then keep aside, let others that want to do high speed.. let them die, you don't have to be a saint to block the road, and causes the traffice jam...

Another thing is that.. I get so pissed off whenever I see people slowing down to watch the so-called accident, marking down the numbers for 3D, 4D..whatever... I was like, hey, don't fucking cause the fucking jam...

Sometimes, I think... it is a speed driver like me, will know the rules on the road and don't contribute any of the accidents shown on papers.... the normal and usual driver are the biggest contribution to all the accidents on the road... what do you think? On highways, doing 60-70km/hr? Please kill me.....

So, our company's lunch time is from 12.30 till 1.30pm. Due to that fact that it was very hard to get a parking space, normally we opt out the option of driving out for lunch. So.. this time again, the same usual time, and since it was damn hot outside, so we were gonna walk to our company canteen (we called that canteen, because it was the nearest kopitiam to our company, and so many of the staff actually frequent that place).

Okay, I was there, then I was gonna have "chap fan" (mixed rice).. I chose my dishes.. two vegetables, and one meat (curry chicken, few pieces only, small one of course) and yes, I added some more rice.. and guess how much was it? I kept asking her "how much?".. she didn't say anything, just mumbling (ya, doing all the calculations).. I gave her RM10, then she gave me RM2 as the change, and quickly run to the other side... at first I was like... WTF, did she calculate it wrong or what? I looked at her, asked her... with my very serious curious face.. "pat kao ar?" (RM8?) ... "lei lo dol ma" (you take a lot)... SHIT!! Those dishes are not expensive one, with RM8, I can have much better food than these! F**K... even with that amount at the other place... the most will be RM5, or less...

I kena waterfish.. bugima dia.. so I swear to myself, never to eat that chap fan again! F**king con-lady.. I went back to my colleagues table, told them it was RM8 for that chap fan... then they replied "wah, so expensive, you don't know meh? This chap fan at this kopitiam, bluff people one... that's why we don't eat chap fan here"................... ya... sudah kena barulah bagitau... sigh...

Wow... look cool, it was like all the other parliment meeting... until.. like the word "You Tak Suka, You Keluar Dari Malaysia"... I silenced for some time.. my heart was broken.. even more, proved my theory is correct... Politicians are stupid, brainless, and uneducated... worse than the amatuer salesperson, they don't really know the art of talking...

I think it's time for them to... go to school, I think, they need to learn... how to talk, and how to make decisions, I think Malaysia is worse than ever, just because of them...

Finally, they're back to Thailand.. I find it to be good because you know, the more I'm with her, the more I can't control myself.. She's too cute! Plus the way she speaks the Thai language, I feel like I can just give everything to her... ya, ya.. I was talking about e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g... As some of my friends know, I am not rich.. in fact, had been broke for quite some time now, but then, I still can't help myself from not buying her a drink... err.... not an expensive drink, just the Coffee Bean mocha, which cost about RM10.50 plus tax... haha.. to those that know me, all I drink was suet-cha, or just plain iced water.. and of course... in those char-chan-teng (kopitiam)... So, once again, it proves that, I am always, will, give way to temptations.... haha... silly me...

Company Annual Dinner

So, it was 27 January 2007, Saturday night... It's the QES annual dinner time again. However, this time (in fact, it was started quite some years ago) that the dinner will only serve orange juice, and of course, chinese tea.. sigh...

But hey, before the dinner, few days back... some of my colleagues already prepared some liquor to bring over to the dinner. But with one condition, never to make any scene (even if you're drunk).. I said, "fine, it won't apply to me, since, ya.. I don't get drunk".. :P

So during the dinner, it was very quiet at first... you know... like a dead crowd or something like that... no one dare to make a sound, even if they were clapping their hands, it was... like.. you know.. totally dead...!!

So, soon we started to drink (we are one of the tables that bring our own liquor).. well, what do you know, it was like all-hell-break-lose.... then the atmosphere started to kick in...

So what's the conclusion? Is liquor/beer/wine so vital in every of the sort of gathering event? Without all those yam-sheng, can a dinner function actually achieved that kind of mood?

Hmmm.. if you ask me, I would say... YES.... not to get drunk, but at least, you need to get high...

So yesterday, as usual, went to see a customer at Nilai Industrial Park, then later on, went over to Glenmarie to look for a friend who works in Sanden for lunch.. So with all these, pretty usual. So, there we were in the office, doing some paper work, then overheard some other colleague whispering about a very cute girl from other branch of the company. Hmmm... blah blah blah.. then she brought her over to introduce to all of us.. Wow.. she's cute, didn't know she is Thai at that time.. but ya.. she's Thai... I love Thai! My heart is all for her... think she captured my heart as well as my boss' heart, especially the way she talks.. so GENTLE.. and especially surprised when she told me her age.. hmm.. what can I say.. WOW again... lol... it makes my company annual dinner more exciting now... I can't wait till annual dinner tonight... to meet up with her again...

The other day I was calling a customer that the previous person in my compay had called. So, she was complaining about the price... blah blah blah... to me... and I was like... errr... can I make an appointment with you so that you can further blurt things out to me? Initially, she said "NO" "Don't need to"...etc... but after much persuasion (think sometimes, I am really good at that.. lol), she said, "yes.. but with SPC"...

Heck! What's SPC?

So, this is how they do sales the amatuer way, the cold-calling thingy... Yes yes, I've done that before when I was trying to promote the Celcom post-paid line, but this is still something new/different to me. For the past two weeks, I was sitting in the office, reading all the information that I needed to know before I could go out and actually speak to someone that needs my product. The difficult part of this product is that, it ain't cheap. It will cost up to RM400,000 just for one measuring machine. Ha! (I know, I know, some are even more expensive, but hey, am comparing it Celcom post-paid line.. )

But anyway, am glad that I am actually learning something new (apart from speaking to someone) that's related to the measuring machines.

Well, I think that sales-persons have a lot of confidence in them (apart from having thick face too, haha)... think that's very suitable for me, since.. to tell the truth, I don't think I have enough confidence in myself......

Why ladies today are still single

So, this is the very first post that I have. I came across an article on the newspaper and found it very interesting. The title was "Too Busy for Love, Too Few to Wed". It just talked about why are there so many singles nowadays. I wondered too, cause I am single too. Not that I don't want to look for any, just that.. I just can't.. sigh..

Part of the article that I'd found was quite interesting, probably we'd heard of this from others many many times already, but still... it always got me wonder... wonder whether or not the guys can use that as an excuse for still being single. What say you?

Why ladies today are still single:
1. The nice men are ugly.
2. The handsome men are not nice.
3. The handsome and nice men are gay.
4. The handsome, nice and heterosexual men are married.
5. The men who are not so handsome, but are nice men, have no money.
6. The men who are not so handsome, but are nice men with money think we are only after their money.
